Dont Treat me Like a Princess

I realized...
Guys cant treat me too well
Or else I'll start to think that I have a crush on them

I know, I know
You'll say that Jocelyn is so childish and desperate
But I'm just as typical as you are...

Having crushes...
Infatuation...
Imagining that I'm dancing with handsome Jason
*
*
*
Dont treat me like a princess
unless you want me to fall for you...
Dont make me feel too good about myself
cz that's when I'll have my head swollen like a ball

How I wish I have someone to love
as in that kinda love
but considering what I'm gonna be next time...

It's not time for me to let this dream go wild...

...Yet

After Penang Dance Perf...

Then there I was...
In Han Jiang College in Penang...
Ready to perform our dance for their International Day.
Though it wasn't a huge event or a very glamorous one...
but I felt really thankful and delighted to be able to stand on that stage
and just do what I like best...

With Chien Sing =)
She performed a song which she composed
and it was a nice one...
though I had to listen to it backstage...
couldn't really hear her clearly but I'm proud of her
Isn't she pretty?

Our 2nd dance
"Double" by BoA.
I'm at the most right...
had a solo ribbon performance too...
but my ribbon got tangled up in the end ...
hooooooo =S
Yieks! but still I ended it with a SMILE...

Tadah...
my new haircut!
I know many was like

"its so short!"

"I prefer you with the long straight hair "

"OMG, that's a lil too pixie"

Yeah I wanted to do the pixie haircut like Rihanna
but not exactly like hers...
Just wanted to have something FRESH...
you know, like vegetables FRESH from the fridge
haha!

As for friends who knows me well
I always come out with surprises...
haha...kinda.

Feel free to comment about my hair...
I'll appreciate your straight-4ward-ness
=)
Oik oik!

If I could....

If I have the freedom to do anything I want
with no restrictions,
no money-limits,
no anxieties...

I would like to:
  1. Taste the best black-pepper steak in this world...YUMMY!
  2. Indulge myself in the top beaches in this planet...AWW MAN!
  3. Shop in the largest, most luxurious shopping center in Dubai...$$$
  4. Produce my own album...LaLaLaLa
  5. Learn photography and have my own art collection/gallery...Ka-Cha!
  6. Build a better classroom for my school's form six students...DEFINITELY!
  7. Buy myself a cello, keyboard and acoustic guitar...Cant wait for that day
  8. Have my personal air plane/helicopter...so I can travel anytime with no worries
  9. Together, help the 2.6 billion ppl with no basic sanitation and clean water...=)
  10. Build my mom's dream cafe
  11. Buy my dad a new car, dining table,sofa...most of all-A big garden for his plants to grow
  12. Promote 3R in Perlis...reuse-reduce-recycle
  13. Build a building for my church...say goodbye to shop-lots!

There's just too much...humans are more or less materialistic and greedy...
But truly, these are just fantasies running through my mind all the time...
hopefully by someday I can accomplish all these "Mission Impossible"
For now...it's back to reality and get my butt back to my chair
and get started with my studies... =)

I'm glad there's still a place for me to unrealistic

Fed Up

It's really stupid to wait for a call
that you know obviously it's not gonna come to you...

Staying all night...
planning about the dance,the routines...

Waiting for that call
from an extremely time-less man...

And yet no sound from the other party...
who invited me to help out...

You really want me to help out?...
you said "yes..."

Is it a firm yes? or just a reluctant reply to my text message?
I cant really judge your answer through SMS

One week has passed by
yet...no news, no reply...

Seems to me
it's all a joke after all...

Some might think it's infatuation or a crush
Some might say I will still help out in the end...

But I'm already fed up
with all the fantasies you gave me
and yet treated me like nobody when I'm away

I wish when you called
I'll be hard enough to say: "NO"

Elocution (Pidato) Competition 2008 (JB)

Huuuuuu...
Finally I'm able to upload these photos here...took me quite some time to do it...
Well, I joined the national elocution competition 2008 at Johor Bahru 2 weeks ago...
it's the 23rd to 25th if not mistaken...=)
Organized by the Anti-Corruption Association...it's really a great experience participating this competition.
Even a greater honour to be the Perlis state representative...
I mean..that was more than I could ask for...
Since 2004, this is the 1st time I represented my state in a competition...
and it's Elocution...
not gymnastics or singing...totally out of what I did for the past 17 years...

Before I let the photos do the talking...
Just to mention that we stayed in one of the most prestigious hotel in JB...
and it's really cool that we got the chance to dine with the Pengarah of BPR's and Menteri Besar Johor...
and the coolest thing was...each contestant gets RM 100...

HAHA....
But i spent 75 % on souvenirs...
.
.
.
.

Enjoy the pics!

My room...very cosy and the bed was really comfortable...

The Zon hotel...the view was taken inside the hotel by the way...
It's been a long time since I'm able to see this kinda structure in a hotel.

My room in the 8th floor!

The only 2 Chinese girls in the English category competition.
meet Elaine from Melaka

Dinner organized by BPR Johor...
That's a lot of food...
Did we managed to finish it...?
You bet we did...
NOT!

Mee rebus...
Yum yum...

Elaine and I decided to check out the stage after that...
which was the night before the competition.
And we got the privilege to test the stage...
credits to : TV Pendidikan Crew

I know it's a taboo but...
who cares...!
They even asked us to lift it up!

I dont think they have insurance for this piala...

Imagine that morning itself...
more than 200 ppl were there...
but I love audience...it's better than speaking to a person...

cz you can see their every emotion when you present...
TEEHEE!
That was not my idea...

How daring we were...

Meet Mas from Sabah...
Pretty eh?

Before going to the battle field...
backstage...
Trying to release the tension inside...

Frankly I was kinda excited that I was the 5th person to present
cz that was what I prayed for...

There I was...on stage presenting...
the bell was kinda annoying though...
instead of the gentle "Ding" sound, they used the "Det Det"
sound...which was really shocking!

Pn. Azilawati and I...
she's the most fashionable and elegant teacher,
not just amongh those people in the hall...
but in Perlis as well...

She even asked me to do smokey eyes for the dinner before that...
COOL..

Then we had lunch...
the si chuan dish they said...
Luckily everything was peaceful when we were eating...
no earth quakes huh...

Mei Ching from City Harvest Church JB...

We look alike???

The "dai ko" of CHC JB...
Adrian-Busyman-Liew

Opps...I was suppose to be smiling...
heeeeeee!

Dinner with Menteri Besar Johor...
this napkin caught my camera's attention...

I find it...unique

Outside the Zon hotel, there are many clubs and exclusive KTV
for the rich and famous...
haha..just joking...
Took some pics outside...with Mr. Dexter, Elaine and Mas

Before attending the prize giving ceremony...
I look kinda ...plum...
Still gorgeous in a way...wakaka!

Ka chah!
Time to say goodbye...

With Fiza, Gavin and...I forgotten the guy in the middle...
Ridzuan is it?or it is ....

ooooo...Whatever...

Stayed back for 2 more days to spend time with friends and relatives...
Meet my lovely cousin sister...(same age)
Yi Huai...

My handsome cousin brother who loves to venture the luxurious toilets
of expensive restaurants...

HEHE...he's cute

Yeu's Cafe...
Black Pepper steak..not bad though...
Kinda huge for a skinny boney girl like me...

but my appetite is not like what it seems yo...

We later went for free herbal treament...

It's like you soak ur legs into a bucket of herbal soup(?)
and just let it thrill ur legs...haha

Neway..saw this beautiful flower behind me...

Yeah...this is how it looks like...
the best thing was...it's free!

The night view of JB's...
ehem...

highway...

Set Foon...finally after 4 months we met each other again...
still as sarcastic as before..
but still the same old trainer...

I mean young...

Purr....

A glimse of CHC JB saturday service...

They were having make up lessons...

Some Bloopers:

Not sure what car is that...
but it's a sport car.
I think...
haha...I called it the batman car...

teng teng teng teng...

Ah...guess what is this?

Guava! soaked in vinegar..(forgotten the exact term for it..)
well...it taste good...
as long it's guava right??

huhuhu

Of course I met up with Jessalynn, Dylan, Uncle Loh and auntie Nelly
my other auntie and CHC JB friends as well...

It was really great to see all of them again...
got some presents too...
thanks alot guys =)

Though Jb is a notorious city
but the people I met made it such a nice place to be
At least for now there are no tragic memories...yet...

CHOI!!

Really thank God for this wonderful opportunity to take part in the competition...
able to speak to so many people was really a great thing for me...
Puan Manjit did a great job for writing a powerful speech...

though I did not win...
at least got pocket money right????

HAHA...

Hope I can get this kinda chance in the future...
hopefully someday I'll get the chance to use this kinda opportunity to influence others,
and to impact their lives...

and say NO to corruption...

Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen!!!

=)
